Verdict

After watching the last competition performance, the verdicts were announced by the audience, "Sound Laboratory" electronic orchestra's volunteers, Marek b. Chodaczyński - President of the Impossible Theatre Union and the Jury of the 19th edition of Puppet is Human too Festival, composed of:
Joanna Braun - chairwoman (Poland), Ruth Brockhausen (Germany) and Marian Pecko (Slovakia)!


The award for "Expressing the Theatre with a Puppet" for mastery in puppet narration and expressing important emotions through minimalist means goes to Bence Sarkadi.


The award for "Expressing the Theatre by a Puppet" for transferring an old cinema to a theatre using unique puppetry techniques goes to Łątek Theatre from Supraśl for the "Nosferatu" spectacle.


The Grand Prix for the best performance for "Expressing the Life with a Puppet" for creativity in acting and directing, for the director's clear trust in her actress and the actress in her director, goes to the Theatre Academy in Białystok for their performance of "Balladyna in a slightly shortened version". We wish these qualities to our future colleagues forever.


The "Audience Award" (open invitation for the awarded performer to the next edition of the Festival) goes to Sofie Krog Teater, creators of the "The House" spectacle.


"Sound Laboratory" electronic orchestra's volunteers' "Hundred for the Point" was awarded to the "Dream of the Primeval Forest" spectacle by the Korene&Kosti theatre.


POLUNIMA's honorary diploma, for the dance of the puppets, was awarded to Bence Sarkadi.
Second POLUNIMA's honorary diploma, for all and each of the "The House" spectacle's components separately, was awarded to Sofie Krog Teater.

Please wait for a reply e-mail confirming your reservation - we respond within 24 hours, but usually much faster.

Rules for booking free tickets:

  • one person can reserve a maximum of 2 tickets for each of the performances/film screenings
  • you can collect your tickets 15 minutes before the performance or film screening starts
  • unclaimed tickets are transferred to people on the reserve list
